Sérgio Silva

With over 36 years of experience, Sérgio Silva is a movement specialist and world-class athlete who has been training clients professionally since 1995. A former World Champion in Submission Wrestling and a current high-level competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sérgio holds a degree in Physical Education from Brazil with a focus on biomechanics and human movement science. Currently based at Alameda Fitness & Spa, he specializes in mobility, dynamic flexibility, and longevity, helping adults and athletes achieve a pain-free range of motion through an intelligent, performance-driven approach.

Beyond traditional personal training, Sérgio is an expert in self-defense, Verbal Jiu-Jitsu, and mindfulness, with extensive experience training law enforcement and private security. His diverse coaching background spans all age groups—from toddlers to seniors—and includes specialized programs for individuals with special needs and multi-sport athletes. By integrating yoga, Natural Gymnastics, and sports psychology, he delivers a high-detail training experience that prioritizes movement quality, mental focus, and long-term health over short-term intensity.

Anna Johnson

Growing up in Wisconsin, Anna has always embraced an active lifestyle, playing soccer and softball throughout school. In college, Anna discovered a passion for weightlifting and is now actively pursuing powerlifting. With a degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Tech and three years of experience in the demanding marine construction industry, Anna deeply understands the challenges of balancing a busy work life with personal fitness goals.

As a personal trainer, Anna emphasizes a philosophy of practicality and adaptability. Fitness doesn’t have to mean lifting the heaviest weights—it’s about incorporating functional movements that promote health and an active lifestyle. Anna works with clients to find simple, effective ways to add movement into their daily routines, making fitness an achievable and sustainable part of their lives.

Edith

Edith is a master trainer and has been working in the fitness and health field for over 6 years. Her experience as trainer, wellness, and nutrition coach has allowed her to support members reach their goals in areas ranging from weight loss, muscle development, and nutrition.

She is a certified wellness coach, diabetes prevention coach, and is currently pursuing her dietetics master degree at San Francisco State. In her free time Edith enjoys cooking, traveling, photography, and playing guitar.

Stefanie Richardson

Stefanie has had experience and training in many different fitness and movement disciplines but amongst her qualifications she is an A.C.E. certified personal trainer, Physical mind Institute for mat and standing Pilates work, and through Balanced Body for Pilates apparatus, notably the Universal Reformer. She also has a BA in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts.

After two serious injuries in her youth, Stefanie began her lifelong love of movement with martial arts and yoga in the early 70s. She then began to study dance which remained her passion for several decades of study and performance. She still dances for her pleasure but now trains in Tai Chi Chuan and Pilates along with maintaining her personalized bodywork routine.

Stefanie views her teaching and training as an artist, helping to move the people she works with toward symmetry and harmony, bringing them into balance within their bodies. She focuses on posture, alignment, and breath, working to correct poor neuromuscular patterns and habits, and resolve lingering injury issues. She listens to and learns from her clients and students and takes great delight in her work.
